Who collects this information

This site collects information in one place only: the booking form. The only exception is the exclusion list, which the team can fill in itself (see below).
Where your data is hosted
The site and its database are hosted in Europe. Your information therefore leaves Algerian territory.
Algerian law 18-07 governs this transfer. By ticking the box before sending your request, you explicitly consent to this hosting outside Algeria. Without that box ticked, nothing is recorded.
What we collect, and why
When you send a booking request, we record:
- your name, so we can welcome you;
- your phone number, to reach you if needed;
- your email, because that is where the confirmation goes;
- the date, time, space and number of people, to prepare your table;
- whether you are coming for drinks or for food, and the occasion if you tell us;
- how many women and men are in your group, if you choose to fill it in: this field is optional and helps the team balance the room;
- any remarks you add.
The team may add service notes to your booking, with a short explanation where needed:
- before replying, the reason for a refusal;
- after your visit, what happened that evening: a late arrival, a no-show, or entry refused;
- if the booking is cancelled, the reason;
- a remark;
- an entry on the exclusion list (see below).
These notes are used to run the room, nothing else. They are deleted at the same time as the rest of your booking.
When a new request arrives, the team sees what the site already holds for that phone number: the number of requests, the refusals, the no-shows and the service notes from the last 12 months at most, and the no-show counter, kept for 24 months.
Nothing else. No advertising, no resale.
The exclusion list
If the team decides that someone can no longer be welcomed, it may add that person’s name, phone number and email to an exclusion list, with a short explanation.
A request from that number or that email is then not processed, and an email tells the person so.
The entry is deleted automatically after 12 months, or sooner if the team removes it. You can ask whether you are on it, and dispute the reason: see “Your rights” below.
Your IP address is not kept
To stop automated fake requests, we count how many requests come from the same visitor within 24 hours. We do not keep your IP address: we keep an irreversible fingerprint of it, which cannot identify you or be turned back into your address.
Who can see it
Only the PianoPiano.dz team, from a password-protected area. Your information is never sold, shared or passed to a third party.
How long we keep it
- Your booking details, service notes included: 12 months, then deleted automatically.
- If you do not show up without warning: your name, your number and the number of no-shows are kept for 24 months.
- An entry on the exclusion list: 12 months from the day it was added.
The deletion is not done by hand: an automatic task runs every night.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising cookie and no tracker. A single technical cookie is created, and only on the booking page: it holds your form while you send it, and disappears when you close your browser.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to see, correct or delete the information about you, and to withdraw your consent. Call us on +213 77 666 4444, or come and see us: we handle your request as quickly as we can.
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can contact the Algerian national authority for the protection of personal data (ANPDP), set up by law 18-07.
